Welcome to my website! I create representational, figurative oil paintings that reflect and document my own experiences.

Drawing on my traditional training and carefully considered compositions, I create colorful paintings that follow the trajectory of my life and I describe my work as autobiographical. At home as a new mother, I painted about pregnancy and the early stages of motherhood. During the times I needed rest, my work shifted to reflect a deep longing for calm and comfort. As my children grew, I found inspiration in the joy they discovered in each day.

My work presents a personal narrative of family, childhood and home while exploring the stages of life I’ve passed through, the shifting dynamics of my relationships, and my evolving sense of identity. Over time, my focus has remained on themes of personal growth, memory, and introspection. Each painting serves as a visual journal through which I am able to give shape to my inner world and express a personal, yet relatable, perspective.
